Kaj Mustikkamäki

Security and IP Architecture

Kaj is responsible for security and IP architecture at Blyk. He has about 15 years of experience in IT industry. He graduated from Helsinki University of Technology as physicist, main subject was material physics. He was introduced to the world of IT while working as System Administrator at the Physics Laboratory at Helsinki University of Technology. From there he moved to CSC, Centre for Scientific Computing, position being networking and parallel computing specialist. Later he joined iobox, a Finnish start-up, as Manager of Operations. After iobox, he worked on another start-up, Krocus Communications, as CTO. Krocus was acquired by Tecnomen and Kaj worked at Tecnomen in various architect positions, last as Chief Architect on Next Generation Messaging. He has seen security as indistinguishable part of his duties. He got his certification on the security skills (CISSP) last December. He spends his spare time with his wife and son. Occasionally he manages to get under water with scuba gear.
