Shaun Gregory

CEO

Shaun Gregory is leading the UK team through a very exciting growth phase. He joined Blyk as the UK Managing Director/CEO in October 2007. Shaun has a broad range of experience having worked in the UK media industry across newspapers, television, radio, magazines, digital and mobile for over 20 years. Previous to his role at Blyk, Shaun was the Director of New Media at Telegraph Media Group and helped transform Britain’s biggest selling quality daily newspaper into a fully integrated 24/7 digital media company. Prior to that Shaun created, launched and developed some of the UK’s most innovative youth media brands, including Kiss, Magic and Kerrang. He has been referred to as one of the UK’s most respected online experts and was widely credited for the digital strategy at Emap. He was a divisional Board Director at the FTSE 100 company and stayed there for 11 years.

Shaun is originally from Yorkshire but has studied at Nottingham, Ashridge and Wharton Business School USA. He lives in Sussex with his wife and two daughters. He loves working with bright people, new ideas and likes to run, collect wine and play chess. His is a lifelong Sheffield United fan.
